What is Freelance Brand Scaling

Post by dashryder »

What's up everyone? Dash Ryder here.

I just set 25 minutes on the timer at pomodorotasktimer.com (not a plug I just love using that website) and I'm about to knock out a post about Freelance Brand Scaling. This isn't being written by some AI tool for search engine results. I'm not here to sell you anything. I just wanted to cover the topic of Freelance Brand Scaling in depth on this forum because it's part of the reason I set up this freelancing.forum in the first place. I will be making more edits and hopefully people will start to join as we modernize the forum. Unlike other Freelance Brand Scaling groups this forum is free to everyone and we will cover all topics of digital marketing. But that's not what we are here for today...

Today I'm here to teach you about Freelance Brand Scaling specifically and tell you a little bit about what I've learned from being in this industry for the past few months. While freelance brand scaling is new in general the concepts behind it have been around for at least 10-15 years online and I'll tell you how to get ahead of 99% of the aspiring freelance brand scalers who are hustling backwards by doing stupid things like "cold outreach". Believe me, save yourself the headache! If you listen closely to the gurus they'll tell you they don't do any paid marketing (what?! :o) and that they don't do cold outreach either.

So then why the heck should you do cold outreach if the gurus aren't even practicing what they preach?

Now let's deep dive for a second. We have covered all of the warm fuzzy stuff and it's time to get into the real meat and potatoes of Freelance Brand Scaling today in 2025. I'm not going to hide anything from you. A lot of what I'm sharing today can be found on my website freelancebrandscal.ing which has been up for a couple months now and we're always adding new content to it. The latest thing we added was a series of videos that I personally recommend you check out if you are looking to get into the Freelance Brand Scaling niche. I spent months watching YouTube videos when I got into this niche and I can save you a lot of time and headaches by only sharing the "need to know" videos and not the promo videos that tell you they're going to teach you Freelance Brand Scaling but all they end up doing is trying to sell you a course. I'm putting this all out into the interwebs because I'm trying to help you avoid the muck of which is what most of the gurus are out there peddling. They put so much garbage out there that you end up desperate to pay thousands of dollars for some real actionable insight into freelance brand scaling so you can live the life of luxury like they do. Spare yourself my friend.

These Freelance Brand Scaling videos are all you need.

But... before you quit reading and jump right to the videos let me explain something to you...

Deep breath. 10 minutes left and I can't tell you how much I want that 5 minute pomodoro task break to come. It can't come soon enough. If you're not using a pomodoro timer to schedule your time as an entrepreneur than you're not as effective as you can be I can promise you that. But let's not get side tracked you wanted the meat and potatoes and since you've worked for it I'm about to share all that and a nice tiramisu for dessert. 🍰🍫☕️ Enough of the side tracking my friend are you ready to learn the freelance brand scaling secret that most gurus wont tell you?

The truth is if you want to scale freelance brands in a niche, let's say the clothing niche for example, one that is often used.

Then you need to have a foothold in that niche already. That's the real truth.

If you haven't been in the clothing niche you're going to have a real tough time selling your brand scaling services to clothing brand owners believe me! Don't worry though because there is hope even if you have no experience in any niche. That's because what I'm about to share with you is the secret the gurus don't want you to know...

You can take over the niche before you get started if you work smarter instead of harder

What do you think I'm doing right now? Do you think I wanted to spend 25 minutes typing until my fingers went numb about Freelance Brand Scaling? I knew you needed this content. Desperately. Or you were going to fail. You would never be in of the star students in those other gurus elite circles and round tables because they were hiding the real truth. While you're out setting appointments and trying to close deals with cold outreach they're running circles around your niche.

That my friends is real freelance brand scaling, owning a niche and deciding which brands thrive in your niche.

And what do you think happens when your clients decide to look further into what freelance brand scaling is all about?

Chances are they'll find that guru you paid $4k to join a course with and not you. Because you never put in the real work to take over the niche. The trenches. What I'm doing right now. Before I even decided to start teaching other freelance brand scalers how to scale brands I put in the work to scale my own content. Chances are you found me as a result of that work.

If you haven't done the work how is anyone ever going to find you? And don't tell me cold outreach because we all know that's like eat cold soup. Nobody likes to be sold on anything let alone a service you're asking them to front the money for. That's the rub. The gurus tell you that you can get into this business with no up front costs and that the customers will front all of your expenses for you while you take a 10% retainer to run their ads for them. Newsflash! That approach ain't working anymore. There's a thousand other freelance brand scalers out there just like you. Who look like and talk just like you...

So what are you going to do to set yourself apart?

Focus on what you' know. Are you good at sales? Then you should put your time into writing sales letters, landing pages, emails, anything you can use to get leads with paid traffic or better yet own the niche organically so people will find your pages and come to you. People who are good at sales on the internet should turn to either sales videos, vlogs, or perhaps other areas of the funnel as I described earlier. The point is to not spend your time trying to pitch yourself over and over to 100 clients when you can pitch yourself once and have a hundred clients come to you. Do you understand?

Now if you haven't signed up for this forum yet, I suggest you do that first.

Introduce yourself in Introductions and let's all get to know each other better.

If you're interested in Freelance Brand Scaling in particular consider joining my group the scaling cartel.
